Cisco Aironet Series 1530 provide effective access to devices due to increased sensitivity and increased radiocommunication range by using technology MIMO according to the standard 802.11a/b/g/n, two or three spatial streams and bit rates up to 300 Mbit/s. Carrier-grade model enables carriers to take advantage of Wi-Fi connectivity to offload next-generation mobile data. Access points AIRONET series 1530 are used in the following configurations.:
- Access points: controlled by a controller or in a stand-alone configuration; Provides the connection of Wi-Fi for customers simultaneously in frequency bands 2.4 and 5 GHz.
- mesh network: as a dedicated transit or universal access point; strip 5 GHz used for wireless network communication with neighboring network nodes.
- Bridge: Provides two-point high-performance data channels, as well as the creation of bridges–multipoint for campuses.
- Working Group Bridge: Provides the mobility of a local network, for example on a vehicle.
- Serial signal transmission: expansion of a linear mesh network with two co-located Aironet 1530 series access points connected via a port LAN
