Cisco 1-Port 10GE LAN-PHY Shared Port Adapter

Interface or line modules Cisco (linecard, interfacemodule) allow you to expand the router or modular platform with the required functionality, including the necessary access ports at speeds 1GbE, 10GbE, 40GbE or 100GbE. Mainly for each series of modular routers or chassis Cisco releases various expansion modules for a certain line of devices, but in most cases, the module can be used in more than one line (for example. interface module Cisco EHWIC-4ESG compatible with routers Cisco ISR G2 1900 series, 2900 series and 3900 series).

depending on the platform, interface module Cisco can support a small number of ports, as is the case with small routers Cisco 1900 series and 48 ports in one module for 7600 series chassis. Interface modules and boards Cisco support many different interfaces and can be used both on the network Ethernet, as well as in other data networks.

Technical characteristics of the interface module Cisco SPA-1X10GE-L-V2:

roduct Compatibility

• Cisco Catalyst 6500 Series Switches

LED Indicators

SPA status-Bicolor green and amber LEDs encode the SPA status as follows:

• LED off-SPA is powered off

• LED amber-SPA is powered on and initializing

• LED green-SPA is powered on and operational

In addition to the status LED, the SPAs also have a bicolor LED dedicated to each port to indicate port status. The green and amber LEDs encode the port status as follows:

• LED off-Port is not activated by software

• LED amber-Port is activated by software, but there is a problem with the Ethernet link

• LED green-Port is activated by software, and there is a valid Ethernet link
