Note: To power on an MPC on MX240, MX480, and MX960 routers, you must configure the network-services enhanced-ip or network-services enhanced-ethernet statement. With this configuration, the router functions in Enhanced-IP/Enhanced-Ethernet network servicesmode and powers on MPCs and MS-DPCs only. The MPC does not come online if this statement is not configured. On MX2010, and MX2020 routers, network-services enhanced-ip is configured by default. |
