Switches Extreme Networks SummitX460 Series – are routing switches for the core of a multi-service network with exceptional 1GE port density in a form factor 1RU and non-blocking switching matrix.

in one switch X460 series, it is possible to use up to 54 ports simultaneously and in a stack - up to 416 ports, combining switches using 40 Gbit/with (SummitStack, SummitStack-V) or 160 Gbit/with (SummitStack-V160) at a distance of up to 10 km. Switches Extreme Networks Summit X460 support stacking over Ethernet using the module SummitStack-V with 10GE ports and standard optical lines, for combining multiple switches into a virtual chassis. SummitStack-V allows you to combine switches into a single chassis at distances up to 40 km.

Simplicity and High Density of Switch Ports X460 will allow you to quickly deploy a carrier-class corporate network, or a data center network.
